June 28th 2008 - 420 Lafayette Street- First Due Dwelling Fire
At 1831 hours, Engine 50 was dispatched to 420 Lafayette Street, Tactical Box 50-43, for a
dwelling fire. Deputy 50 (Carosi) went on scene at 1833 hours and reported a working fire
on the second floor. Endine 50 went responding at 1833 hours with a crew of 7. Arriving
first, Engine 50 dropped a supply line and went in-service with an attack line. Bulk of the fire
was quickly knocked by the Engine Company. All searches were negative. Deputy 50 had
Lafayette Street Command. Station 50 had 19 volunteers respond to the scene.

June 24th 2008 - 1107 First Avenue - Well Involved Vacant in Croydon
At 0419 hours, Station 11 was dispatched to 1107 First Avenue for a dwelling fire. Chief 11
arrived on location and found a well involved vacant dwelling fire. At 0426 hours, Engine 50
and Engine 52 was dispatched on the assignment. Engine 50 went responding at 0432
hours with a crew of 7. Engine 50's crew relieved the first-in companies and assisted in
extinguishing the fire. Engine 50 took up at 0545 hours. Station 50 had 11 personnel
respond to the assignment. This is the scene of 2 other suspicious fires.
June 19th 2008 - 400 Block of Pond Street - Fumes Throughout the Boro
At 1606 hours, Tactical Box 50-09 was struck for fumes. It was reported that PECO
experienced a loss of pressure / service in several locations throughout Bristol Borough. It
was believed that the loss of pressure would have left pilot lights out in the residence.
Crews from Engine 50 and Engine 501 went door-to-door evaluating service and reporting
any emergency issues. Engine 50 went available at 0119 hours. Station 50 had 14
volunteers respond to the assignment.
June 4th 2008 - Hoseline Operation and Management Training
Station 50, Station 14 and Station 11 had some friendly competition while training. Several
handlines were pulled from Engine 50 and placed in-service. During heavy down pours, the
volunteers raced, by using the streams, to push the milk cartons, filled with weights, across
the parking lot. All along the firefighters were practicing hoseline operation and
management. Good job to Lt. 50 and Capt. 14 for the change of pace!
May 28th 2008 - 739 Pine Street - Dwelling Fire
At 1948 hours, Engine 50 was dispatched to 739 Pine Street, Tactical Box 52-15, for the
report of a kitchen fire. Engine 50 went responding at 1949 hours with a crew of 8, under
the command of Captain 50 (Cruz). Engine 50 was the second in engine company and
prepared to drop out to a secondary water supply. Engine 50 split it's crew and checked for
extension, both exterior and interior. Heavy charring was found but there was no fire
extension. Engine 50 returned at 2023 hours. Station 50 had 19 members respond.

June 9th 2008 - 1219 Hayes Blvd - Trailer Fire with Extension
Station 14 was dispatched to 1219 Hayes Blvd, Rob's Towing, for a trailer fire. FM 225 (K.
Dippolito) arrived on scene and found fire coming from a large trailer. FM 225 advised that
the fire was impinging against the building and upgraded the assignment. At 1200 hours,
Engine 50 was sent to Station 14 for the task force. After taking a dwelling fire assignment
at 85 Gable Hill Road, Engine 50 was added to the Hayes Blvd assignment. Engine 50
arrived at 1244 hours and assisted with overhaul. Engine 50 had 7 volunteers.
