March 27, 2011 - 624 Beaver Street - Dwelling Fire
On March 27, 2011 at 1821 hours, Engine 50 was dispatched to 624 Beaver Street for a
dwelling fire.  Assistant 50 (S. Reeves) went on scene at 1823 hours and reported smoke
showing throughout a two and a half story duplex.  Assistant 50 established Bristol
Command.  Bristol Command ordered Engine 52-1 to drop in and go in-service.  At 1826
hours, Engine 52-1 arrived with 3 personnel and went to work.  Engine 50 followed with 7
personnel and pulled a back-up line.  Engine 501 arrived at 1833 hours with 4 personnel
and checked for extension on the second and third floors.  Crew made quick work of the
basement fire and had no vertical extension.  Engine 50 went available at 2101 hours.  
Station 50 had 28 personnel respond to the incident.

March 17, 2011 - 693 Second Ave - Dwelling Fire
On March 17, 2011 at 1909 hours, Engine
50 was dispatched to 693 Second Ave for a
dwelling fire.  When Deputy 50 (Carosi)
arrived he reported that he had smoke
showing from a two story middle of row
dwelling.  

Engine 50 arrived on location at 1913 hours
with 8 personnel.  Engine 501 arrived on
scene at 1917 hours with 4 additional
personnel.  Engine 50 split it's crew for both
fire suppression and a search.  Engine 50s
crew were able to knock the kitchen fire with
minimal extension.  Engine 50s crew also
assisted a resident out of the D-exposure
dwelling.  

Engine 50 and Engine 501 took up at 2052
hours.  Station 50 had 19 personnel
respond to the incident.

April 17, 2011 - Floods and Fires Hit the Lower Bucks Area
In the early morning of April 17, 2011, the
Bristol Borough / Township area
experienced major flooding in low lying
areas due to a storm system that struck the
day prior.  The flooding caused the closure
of the Mill Street parking lot and a fuel spill /
fumes inside the building at 130 Mill Street
at 0210 hours.  Engine 50 did respond to
that incident with 10 total personnel and
remained on location until 0530 hours.  

Just prior to the Mill Street call, Engine 50
was dispatched to Station 11 for a cover
assignment.  Engine 501 responded in place
of Engine 50 with 5 personnel.  While en
route, Engine 501 was dispatched to 403
West Circle Avenue for a dwelling fire.  Upon
arrival, Engine 501 found a self-cleaning
oven working properly and recalled the
assignment.  Engine 501 then returned to
Station 11 for the cover.  Engine 501
returned back to Station 50 at 0315 hours.

At 0443 hours, Station 11 was dispatched to
806 3rd Avenue, tactical box 11-32, for a
dwelling fire.  While responding, Chief 11
was advised of 2 juveniles trapped.  Engine
501 requested and was granted permission
to run extra on the assignment.  Engine 501
was 4th to arrive.  Engine 501 dropped a
second supply line from 3rd and Morris as
the crew threw ground ladders, vented and
assisted in the search.  All searches were
negative.  Engine 501 operated on scene
until 0612 hours.  

In total, Station 50 had 15 personnel working
throughout the night.
